I work as a substitute on my days off from my valet job just to make some extra income and there's a school I frequently sub at right by my house. Everyone on staff knows me and requests me and the kids think I rock.

Well this afternoon after lunch a number of kids requested to go to the nurses office because of stomaches. It started out with a few, but then grew more and more. I felt the kids were just trying to get out of class, but was also concerned.

Near the end of the day I went and wrote a message on the classroom DoJo ( a computer app that lets teachers distribute positive and negative points to students) to send a message to the teacher about how the kids perhaps got ill after lunch and how I had quite a few students go to the nurses office and this caused a lot of kids to lose focus on the assignment.

What I didn't know was this message not only went to the teacher, but to every parent. Which led to the front office getting bombarded with parents calling. It's not a big deal the office told me, but I stress out over these things. I feel so embarrassed and I feel so bad the office had to deal with these parents calling.

I mean I'm a Leo and I helped hotel guests run into an employee elevator and helped them hide in a storage area but I wouldn't run towards the gun fire. That's not logical

Glad you're ok. I work down at Mandalay Bay in the back valet lot. I Can't get over it. Went into to work tonight to help with guest's needs and it's just weird seeing the place so quiet.
